This Privacy Policy applies to skagenbodo.no and related services.

We take privacy seriously and want to be open about how we collect, use and store personal data.

2. That's why we store information

We store information for several reasons:

  • In order for the system to recognize our users, to be able to use the Services
  • To have a confirmation of purchase/registration
  • To enable our users to register for our events
  • For targeting and removing ads and editorial content that is relevant/irrelevant to you
  • To be able to send you up-to-date information about courses and conferences you have signed up for
  • To develop and improve our services by understanding how they are used
  • For processing applications

3. We do not use the information for

Information you provide to us is only stored in our systems.

The information will not is sold on and will only be used to provide you as a user with more relevant information and better services.

Third parties (such as Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel) will be able to extract IP address and data based on your browsing patterns. We are obliged to ensure that these third parties process data in accordance with Norwegian regulations.

Anonymous information

  • It is logged which web pages have been visited, time, browser and from which IP address the visit comes.

Personal data

  • Registration of user account: When registering a user account, we store email addresses.
  • We may also store optional information such as full name and phone number.

5. Information stored locally

For example, we use cookies to store anonymous identification locally in your browser.

These are used to improve the user experience, e.g. remembering form data entered.

We also include elements of third-party services such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Google+, which load their own cookies.

5b. How do we store the data?

  • Data is stored in the Azure cloud solution at Microsoft in Oslo.

5c. How long do we store the data?

  • Data is stored for up to 6 months.

6th. Processing of personal data/cookies

Personal data will be stored in our database, processed and published in accordance with the provisions of Personal Data Act.

7. Responsible for processing

Your personal data will be processed by AS Series (Data Controller) and our IT providers.

We can engage other companies to contribute to our development and provide them with the necessary information.

The personal data will not be disclosed to others without your consent, unless we are legally obliged to do so.

Your data is stored within the EU/EEA and in accordance with Norwegian data protection legislation.

8. Recorded profile data, transparency and rectification

The information you provide during registration and editing is used to provide and further develop the service, as well as for analysis and statistical purposes.

  • You have the right to request access to the data recorded about you
  • You may have information corrected, supplemented or deleted
  • You can request deletion from our databases (except in cases with special requirements)
  • In case of suspicion of incorrect information, we may delete the account without further action

  • Right to request restriction of processing
  • Right to object to treatment
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to complain to the Danish Data Inspectorate
  • Right to withdraw consent at any time

9. How to prevent cookies from being stored

You can:

  • Delete cookies at any time (but personal settings disappear)
  • Change browser settings so that cookies are not stored (may reduce functionality)
  • Disable JavaScript (but many features will then not work)
